Bede pupils’ nature trail

June 23, 2016

Reception, Year 1 & 2 pupils from Bede’s Pre-Prep were fortunate to experience the beauty of the Bluebell Walk in Arlington.

In small groups the children explored some of the seven interesting walks .

Not only were they able to see vistas of bluebells but also other flowers such as white anemones. The children enjoyed the peace and tranquillity throughout the walk, and the children maximised the opportunity to read the information signs that illustrated the flora and fauna of the countryside that they were immersed within.

To conclude the visit the children were able to also enjoy seeing several young animals close up in the pens and learn about the lambs, piglets and angora goats.
