Bede’s School in Upper Dicker has appointed James Kirtley as its new Bowling Consultant working as part of the Bede’s Cricket Academy. James, who was born in Eastbourne, played with great distinction for both England and Sussex County Cricket Club. Over the course of his twenty year career, he represented England in all forms of the game and played a significant role for Sussex during their most successful era.

Commenting on the appointment, Bede’s Director of Cricket, Alan Wells said, “We are delighted to welcome James who will further enhance our Cricket Development Programme from the Prep through to the Senior School. His wealth of experience at both county and international level will be of great benefit to all our boys and girls.”
