Bede’s Prep Pupils Take Centre Stage in Aladdin Trouble Pantomime
Last month’s Bede’s Prep pantomime saw Year 5 and 6 pupils perform a modern twist of the classic story, Aladdin.
Performed over three days (27, 28 and 30 November 2017), ‘Aladdin Trouble’ told the tale through the eyes of Scheherazade, with pupils performing in a range of roles, from eligible suitors and villagers, to evil masters and heroes.
Ms Burdekin, English teacher at Bede’s Prep, said: “As always, there was a tight rehearsal framework, and I would like to thank all of the children for being so committed and learning their songs and words. A big thank you goes to all of the staff who supported the production in so many different ways, from the music to the lighting, costumes to props, sound and digital effects.”
