Bede’s School Community collects over 1,000 Easter eggs for local charities

April 6, 2018

This term, pupils and staff at Bede’s Senior School were set a challenge by their Headmaster, Peter Goodyer: collect 1,000 Easter Eggs for charity by the Final Assembly on Friday 23 March.

The target was surpassed, with 1,156 eggs collected ready for donation to a number of worthy causes, including St Mary’s School in Bexhill, and Eastbourne and Hailsham Foodbank.

Mr Goodyer comments: “It is wonderful to see the Bede’s School community come together and give so generously for individuals in our local area who are less fortunate than us. I would like to extend my thanks to everyone involved for their support with this initiative.”
