Farlington A Level choices evening

September 20, 2017

Farlington School is holding its A Level Choices Evening on Tuesday 26th September at 6pm.

It is an opportunity for prospective Sixth Formers to gain an overview of the academic choices available and life in the Sixth Form at Farlington.

Alison Binns, Head of Sixth Form, will provide information for students, including details of scholarship awards, and talk about life and opportunities in Years 12 and 13. A tour of the Sixth Form Centre and other relevant parts of the school will be given. Students will also have the chance to speak to Sixth Form and staff about the wide range of A level subjects on offer.

Girls who took their A levels in June are now heading to universities including Bath, Reading and Surrey to study courses ranging from English Literature to Veterinary Medicine.

Farlington Sixth Form provides students with not just excellent teaching and pastoral care at this crucial stage in their education, but myriad opportunities to develop other skills through the Extended Project Qualification, Young Enterprise, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Voluntary Service and charity fundraising.

Students and parents are welcome to attend, and refreshments will be provided. Please contact Farlington’s Registrar to find out more on registrar@farlingtonschool.net or 01403 282 573.
