Three talented young skiers from top independent school Burgess Hill Girls triumphed in the BISS National Indoor Ski Racing Championships in ’snowy’ Hemel Hempstead.

Competition for the indoor event was stiff, with over 170 racers in both the junior and senior categories from schools across the country.

In the junior section, [left to right] Georgina Hogbin (U10), Charlotte Hogbin (U13) and Hannah Drage (U13) won the girls team event, scoring 17 points in total.

Burgess Hill Girls Head Liz Laybourn said: “This is a fantastic achievement for our girls, who were competing against some of the top school skiers in the country. To see such talent in juniors is particularly impressive.”
