October 12, 2016

Farlington School, near Horsham, is offering its Vive Scholarship for a third year. The award for entrants into Year 7 in September 2017 offers a 50% reduction on the annual tuition fee to girls who can demonstrate academic excellence and expertise in at least one other extra-curricular area. This could be Drama, Music, Sport, Art or another activity.

This year’s Vive Scholar is Emily Higgs, who demonstrated academic merit as well as excelling in music and drama. She is a worthy recipient of the award and a brilliant addition to the Senior School.

Farlington offers further Scholarships into Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form for Academic excellence and in Art, Drama, Music, and Sport. The closing date for Year 7 and 9 Scholarship applications is 18th November 2016 and examinations are held on 4th January 2017.

Sixth Form Scholarships are available for entry into Year 12. The closing date for registrations is 14th October 2016, with examinations held on 8th November 2016.

Farlington, an all-girls’ school with a co-educational nursery, offers an all-round education; producing excellent academic results while offering pupils a wide range of extra-curricular activities in a happy, supportive environment.

Ms Louise Higson, Headmistress, says, “I am delighted to offer the Vive Scholarship; it is aimed at girls who epitomise the Farlington motto, vive ut vivas (‘live life to the full’); they excel academically as well as demonstrating an outstanding ability in other areas. We look forward to receiving applications from girls who have not previously considered Farlington.”
