Farlington’s landscapes in a boxJanuary 31, 2019
In Geography the Farlington students in Year 7 started the Spring Term by presenting their inspirational ‘Landscapes in a Box’.
Having researched, planned and designed their chosen landscape, the students spent the Christmas break constructing their landscape.
The landscapes were truly inspirational and ranged from a mathematically- scaled model of the Needles on the Isle of Wight by Ellie to a fully-automated, working waterfall in New Zealand by Lili.
Geography teacher Mrs Edgar and Headmistress Ms Higson were incredibly impressed by the phenomenally high standard of work.
